Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Product Service Engineer (Deployment) to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be delivering high-quality maintenance, servicing, calibration, inspection, and repair of Castium and client equipment at varying customer sites and Castium premises, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards. The Product Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of equipment, ensuring the accuracy of calibrated instruments, and preserving the condition, availability, and accountability of company tools, test equipment, and service assets. The role also represents the company on customer sites by providing a professional, customer-focused service while maintaining compliance with company procedures and relevant industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, repair, and calibration of company and client equipment.
- Diagnose faults and undertake appropriate corrective actions.
- Complete all work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures and applicable standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and associated documentation.
- Ensure company tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas are kept in a safe and serviceable condition.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service while representing the company positively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support operational requirements.
- Undertake other duties that are reasonably consistent with the purpose of the role.
Requirements & Experience
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to apply knowledge of standards, methods and procedures to work situation
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering practices in the mechanical environment
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management
- Medically fit for the position and environment
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
