Digital Dental Technician / CAD Designer

Retainer Lab is a dentist-founded digital laboratory producing retainers and whitening trays for clinics across the UK. We're building a premium service from the ground up — precise work, fast turnaround, and a finish clinics don't get anywhere else. We're looking for a detail-driven technician or CAD-experienced designer to become a core part of that.
You'll work directly with the two founders, learn the full digital workflow, and have real room to grow as the lab scales.
The role
You'll own the day-to-day production of retainer and whitening tray cases, from order to dispatch:
- Managing incoming orders from clinics
- Designing models in CAD software
- Running and refining the digital workflow
- Manufacturing, finishing and quality-checking appliances
- Packaging and shipping completed cases
- Helping keep production efficient and consistently high-quality
Who we're looking for
We're open on background — qualified technicians, junior technicians, or anyone with CAD or digital dental experience. What matters most:
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong organisation and time management
- Confidence with digital software
- Pride in high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- A positive attitude and appetite to learn
Experience with retainers or whitening trays is a plus but not essential — we provide full training.

Pay
Starting salary £35k, plus production-based commission.
