Digital Marketing & Content Creator Apprentice

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to begin their career in digital marketing. As a Digital Marketing & Content Creator Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities while supporting online growth and customer engagement.
You’ll work closely with experienced marketing professionals, supporting social media activity, content creation, and digital campaigns across multiple platforms.
This role offers exposure to:
- Social media management and strategy
- Content creation and copywriting
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- UI/UX fundamentals
- E-commerce and customer engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of social media campaigns
- Assist with influencer outreach and relationship building
- Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms
- Help create and manage monthly content calendars
- Carry out research including hashtags, trends, and competitor analysis
- Engage with online communities, responding to messages and comments professionally
- Support handling of customer enquiries and complaints
- Review product listings and suggest improvements for performance
- Assist in planning and delivering live video content for product promotion
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns based on trends and platform updates
- Create content including blogs, social posts, images, videos, and ad copy
- Support campaign reporting and performance analysis
- Carry out general marketing and administrative tasks as required
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- A genuine interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of current social media trends
- Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
- Competent level of written English
Desirable (not essential):
- Experience with blog writing, video editing, or creative projects
- Basic understanding of SEO or digital marketing principles
- Any previous experience in marketing, sales, or e-commerce
Training & Development
This apprenticeship combines practical, on-the-job experience with structured learning delivered by a specialist training provider.
You’ll develop skills in:
- Social media management
- Content creation and copywriting
- SEO (on-page and off-page)
- Digital marketing campaigns
- UI/UX basics
- Customer engagement and online community management
On completion, you will achieve a recognised digital marketing qualification, with potential progression opportunities.
Pay: £8.00 per hour
