You will support the Neighbourhood Locality Team by effectively managing available homes and delivering high quality customer support and account management.

We are looking for 1 x full time role & 1 x part time (25 hour) role
x
The Role
As a Neighbourhood Support Advisor, you will:
Attend customer engagement events and residents' meetings to understand customer needs and expectations and provide advice and guidance.
- Act as an advocate for vulnerable and at-risk customers, ensuring they receive tailored support that meets their individual needs and circumstances.
- Support the administration of the housing applications process including running matching lists and processing nominations.
When required, assist with the allocation of social housing properties in accordance with guidelines and procedures.
Attend meetings with Capital Investment prior to completion and handover of properties to develop an understanding of the development and suitability for prospective applicants.
- Ensure a proactive approach to debt management by encouraging preventative measures with customers and taking accountability for maximising income recovery through income collection and recovery.

About You:
We’re looking for people who have:
x
- HNC level qualification in a relevant discipline, or equivalent Housing Qualification, or equivalent experience
- At least two years relevant experience
- Commitment to and engagement with Continuous Professional Development
- Previous experience in a customer focused role
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to confidently engage with a wide range of customers
- Knowledge of Data Protection
- Knowledge of relevant Housing legislation
