What you'll do:
- Manage day-to-day logistics, transportation, and distribution operations.
- Coordinate freight movement, route planning, warehousing, and delivery schedules.
- Develop operational strategies that improve efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, customer service, and transport teams to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor logistics performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Manage logistics budgets, operational resources, and performance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
- Analyse operational data and recommend improvements that enhance service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop logistics teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight operations, warehouse management, or a related field is beneficial.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of logistics operations, inventory management, fleet coordination, or distribution processes is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience are welcomed.
