Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Driver / Labourer to join our small, friendly team fitting high-quality wooden window shutters across the Northwest.
You will work alongside an experienced fitter, helping with driving to client sites, loading, and unloading materials, and assisting with installations on-site.
Duties
- Driving the company van to and from job sites safely and punctually.
- Unloading equipment, tools, and shutter panels carefully at domestic properties.
- Assisting the lead fitter, holding panels, assembling frames, and general fitting tasks.
- Keeping the workspace, van, and site clean, tidy, and organised.
- Representing the business professionally when interacting with customers in their homes.
- Delivering shutters to our Trade Customers
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after trips
- Support warehouse activities including sorting, organising, and moving inventory or equipment
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries and on-site work
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support project requirements or warehouse operations
- Skills
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with inventory handling and organisation
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks consistently
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance procedures.

Pay: £13.46-£14.42 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
