Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Operative
Location: Lisburn BT28
Hours: 48 Hours per week Monday - Saturday Day Shift. 8am - 4pm
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50 per hour Monday - Friday and £15 per hour Saturday
Role Overview
This role requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to carry out physically demanding work. You will be responsible for industrial cleaning, delivering consistently high standards in fast-paced environments. The work involves tasks such as lifting, bending, carrying equipment and working on your feet for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
Deep Cleaning
- Complete thorough cleaning of industrial, commercial and public areas, including floors, machinery, washrooms and high-level surfaces.
- Use specialist equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, ensuring all areas meet the required standard.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Follow all COSHH, PPE and site-specific safety requirements at all times.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment and report any risks or issues immediately.
Equipment Use & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers, vacuums and pressure washers.
- Ensure machinery is used correctly, kept in good condition, and any faults are reported promptly.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good organisational skills
- Applicants should be reliable and capable of carrying out the physical duties required for the role
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable Criteria
- Previous industrial cleaning experience (preferred)
- Full driving licence preferred due to location. Limited public transport available.
