Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Hold a category C (class 2) HGV licence
- Checking the vehicle before commencing run and after completing run, ensuring the vehicle is legally compliant at all times.
- Keeping accurate records of all deliveries.
- Keeping accurate records of all collections and goods return notices.
- Obtain signed results for all goods delivered.
- Ensuring your vehicle is clean and tidy, externally and internally.
- Ensuring the safe & secure delivery and collection of loads in agreed timescales.
- Ensuring road transport laws and regulations are adhered to at all times.
- Have a minimum of 12 months class 2 HGV experience.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsement codes
- Ensuring compliance with Company Health and Safety rules.
- Ensuring that any issues encountered whilst on run are reported.
- Ensuring awareness of safety procedures for goods loading and unloading.
- Adhoc, bulk deliveries to customers, taking trucks for service etc.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent driving record
- Excellent knowledge of road transport laws.
- Must hold a Class 2 (Cat C) licence (18T)
- Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and digital tachograph driver card

- Sunday-Thursday
- 40-50 hour contract
- £14.77-£16.50 per hour
