About the role:
We're looking for passionate, qualified Level 3 early years practitioners to join our warm, welcoming nursery team. You’ll work closely with children aged 6 months to 5 years old, supporting their learning, development, and well-being through fun, play-based activities.
You'll help create a safe, stimulating environment where every child feels happy, confident, and valued. You'll observe progress, track development milestones, and build strong, trusting relationships with both children and their families.
About Queensberry Nursery:
Queensberry Nursery is an Ofsted-registered setting, based in the heart of South Kensington. It is a nurturing early years setting for children aged 6 months to 5 years old that follows the EYFS framework. Focusing on play based learning, school readiness, strong communication and social and independence skills through a supportive, caring environment.
What are we looking for?
The Nursery is looking for a caring, thoughtful and emotionally mature Level 3 Practitioner who is willing to join a dynamic, proactive, professional and forward-thinking staff body.
In addition to other qualities, our new team member will be required to:
- Help to create a warm, caring and unique environment for the children, families and team of the Nursery
- Support and promote equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice
- Support children’s learning through play, exploration and meaningful interactions
- Support personal care, hygiene, and mealtimes
- Encourage free flow play to support independence and confidence
- Deliver engaging learning opportunities and high-quality care to support each child’s individual development
- Have a child-led approach, ensuring that observations and planning meet the needs of each individual child
- Help ensure the well-being, health and safety of all children at all times, including all various dietary requirements
- To support and nurture your relationships with all children, families, colleagues and external professionals with whom you have contact
- Contribute to planning, observations and assessments in line with the EYFS
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies and procedures at all times
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions, including any mandatory training for continuous professional development.
Safeguarding and Child Protection
Queensberry Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As such, the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and will also be required to provide two references from previous employers.

Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous nursery experience
- Good understanding of the EYFS
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
- Passion for working with children
- Proficient in English language skills, both spoken and written
