Gate Automation Engineer - The Role:
Your role as an installation, service, and maintenance engineer will be working on a varied range of projects both individually and as part of a team, installing electrically operated vehicle and pedestrian gates, car park barriers, rising bollards and access control systems.
Working to the highest possible standards of health & safety, and taking account of relevant legislation, you will be expected to take responsibility for complete installations, from groundwork to all associated controls, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally with both customers and other members of the team.
Salary will be in line with experience and skill level and will be fully discussed at interview.

A well-established business trading for 40 years based in Wellingborough Northamptonshire is now expanding its workforce and is opening an electric gate showroom in Q4 2026.
Due to planned growth, we are now looking for a gate installation engineer and a service and repair engineer.
The company provides a full range of gate and access control solutions in both the domestic and commercial sectors and prides itself in delivering excellent access solutions with exceptional customer service.
Gate Automation Engineer - The Person:
Organized, focused, hardworking and conscientious, with good attention to detail and strong customer focus, you should have experience installing, maintaining, and servicing automatic gates, barriers, rising bollards and access control systems.
Experience of DEA, FAAC, CAME and BFT equipment would be a particular advantage. Ideally you will have a working knowledge of the current safety legislation, have the ability to fault find and repair. You will need a valid UK driving license and a CSCS card
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
