We are recruiting for a passionate and ambitious Assistant Managers to join a highly successful gastro pub, restaurant and bar company in a beautiful location in the Lake District.

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Managers with personality, energy and a genuine love for hospitality. Someone who enjoys being on the floor, behind the bar, chatting with guests from all walks of life and helping create a memorable customer experience every day.
This role would suit someone currently working within a quality gastro pub or fresh food pub operation or restaurant who is looking to step into a business where they can really make their mark and progress their career. Candidates with a quality branded corporate hospitality experience would work well, be we would also consider independent experience...or a mixture of both.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience within a quality gastro pub, premium food pub or fresh food restaurant operation
- A strong host with excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage naturally with guests
- Hands-on approach with the willingness to support across all areas of the business
- Strong leadership skills with experience motivating, training and developing teams
- Good commercial awareness including stock control, GP management and driving sales
- High standards across food, drink and service delivery
- Ambitious and eager to develop into a broader management role, including future involvement with the bedrooms side of the business
- Experience from either quality independents, premium gastro pub groups or a combination of both would be ideal
