Are you organised, detail-oriented and looking to develop your career within Primary Care?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Primary Care Contracts Team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a role that directly supports patient care, service delivery and quality improvement across South Coast Medical Group.
About the Role
Working as part of our Primary Care Contracts Team, you will play a key role in supporting patient recall systems, long-term condition monitoring, Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF) activity and seasonal vaccination programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing patient recall systems for long-term conditions
- Monitoring and inviting patients for reviews and high-risk medication monitoring
- Supporting QoF processes and performance targets
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical coding
- Producing and utilising SystmOne reports
- Supporting Flu, COVID and other seasonal vaccination campaigns
- Assisting with service improvement projects and quality inspections
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
Working Pattern
37.5 hours per week
Attendance across five days is preferred due to the nature of the role, although flexibility regarding working hours can be considered.
30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.

- Has excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Has strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Has good IT and keyboard skills
- Can manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Communicates effectively with colleagues and patients
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates a positive, proactive and flexible approach
- Has experience within a healthcare or GP practice environment (desirable)
