About Us: Metal Fabrication Systems Ltd is a leading provider of steel fabrication services, specializing in Heavy Engineering Fabrications. We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Welders to join our growing workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, welding on a variety of heavy steel components.
- Ability to read and understand welding specifications.
- Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds for accuracy and structural integrity.
- Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other tradespeople.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder in a heavy engineering or structural fabrication environment.
- Proficient in various welding techniques and processes (MIG, TIG however TIG is not essential).
- Trade qualification or relevant welding certifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding work.
