We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in their homes . Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities in accordance with their care plans
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions
- Promote independence and dignity while encouraging participation in social activities.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery
- Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when required (driving licence preferred)
- Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans to meet specific needs
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a care home or home care environment
- Basic driving skills; a valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of residents or clients
