Location: Edwins Garden Centre – Clandon Park
Hours: Minimum 4 days per week, including weekends

Become a Key Chef at Edwins
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Chef to join our growing coffee shop team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least one year's professional kitchen experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Working alongside the other chefs, you'll help deliver our fresh breakfast and lunch menu while ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently every day. You'll also be confident enough to take the lead and run the kitchen when required, maintaining our high standards of food quality, organisation and customer service.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the other chefs with the daily running of the kitchen.
- Preparing and cooking fresh food to a consistently high standard.
- Leading the kitchen and managing service when required.
- Preparing ingredients and ensuring everything is ready for service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Washing up and keeping the kitchen clean, organised and efficient – this is an essential part of the role.
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries and ordering when required.
- Working as part of a friendly team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- At least 1 year's experience working in a commercial kitchen.
- Someone who can confidently manage the kitchen when required.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the whole team.
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
- Flexible to work a minimum of 4 days per week, including weekends.
- Willingness to travel between our Woking and Clandon Park sites for emergency cover when required.
- Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food and continually developing your skills.
