Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Pay Rate:
- Day Shift: £13.19 per hour
- Night Shift: £14.05 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern
- 4 days out of 6. Pick your own working days!
- Day Shift: 6:00am – 6:00pm
- Night Shift: 6:00pm – 6:00am
What You'll Be Doing
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Producing, packing, and preparing tofu products.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process.
- Monitoring production lines and reporting any faults or issues.
- Completing production paperwork accurately.
- Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Cleaning production equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Supporting other departments when required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts, including weekends on a rota basis.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods while carrying out manual handling duties.
