Upton Mill is a welcoming care home that provides expert 24-hour residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for up to 64 elderly residents. This purpose-built home boasts a wealth of luxurious amenities, including beautifully decorated bedrooms equipped with ensuite wet rooms, a selection of stylish lounges and dining rooms, a café, cinema, hairdressing salon, gym and a private dining room. Full Time Position - 34 Hours Weekly - 10 Hour Shifts - 8am to 6pm - Alternative Weekends

As a Kitchen Porter you will support the kitchen team to serve delicious, well-balanced and nutritious meals that our residents will love. Kitchen Porter responsibilities include washing pots and pans, keeping floors clean, sanitising food preparation areas and ensuring food is stocked up in all areas of the home by checking and replenishing stock and help with unloading and putting away deliveries. If you think you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy kitchen, we'd like to meet you.
About you:
You will be reliable, considerate and caring in your approach. Formal qualifications are not necessary as full training will be provided, although any similar experience gained in a commercial kitchen or care setting would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will be subject to the provision of satisfactory references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and they must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
