Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using clinic software, confirming bookings and updating records
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
- Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy and confidentiality
- Maintain organized reception area, ensuring all informational materials are current and accessible
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Support clinic staff with light administrative duties to ensure seamless daily operations
- From time to time be willing to provide reception cover at our Newport clinic
Experience
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred, demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Proficiency with basic office software and clinic management systems is advantageous
