We are looking for a Full Time PSV/HGV Bus and Coach Mechanic based at our Haddington depot to help maintain our fleet and ensure we operate to the highest possible standards.
Requirements
A minimum Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent (i.e., City & Guilds Level 1 & 2) or 5 years previous experience
Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering environment.
You must possess a full UK driving licence.
A PCV licence or the willingness to gain a PCV licence is desirable.
Experience of working with buses and coaches would be advantageous, however, HGV mechanics should also apply.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement for our fleet of ADL Enviro 200s and Mercedes Sprinter buses.
Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
Carry out routine vehicle servicing and examinations to DVSA standards.
Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns.
Have the ability, to work at the highest Health & Safety standards.
