Job Description
Our client is seeking a domestic electrician to cover the Ipswich, Thetford, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds areas on a permanent contract basis. They deliver high quality services to clients in the local authority sector and are seeking a domestic maintenance electrician to join their quick growing and friendly team with fantastic company benefits and atmosphere. Van and fuel card included.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday - 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am – 2:30pm. (Early Finish paid till 5pm).
Salary:
£43,445 per annum.
Van and Fuel card included. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays. Sick pay (Must be there for over a certain period). Bike to work scheme, Pension, Reduced rates on some events/Gym.
The role: Electrician
Remedial works in domestic properties on active and planned maintenance programmes. This will be carrying out repairs and maintenance while offering a high standard of customer service.
Main duties include EICR checks, remedial works and general electrical duties.
Role requirements -
In order to be considered for the role you must have proven experience as a fully qualified domestic electrician.
- Qualified to Level 3 City and Guilds and AM2 (or equivalent)
- 18th edition
- 2391 test and inspection qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Preferably have experience of working in social housing or tenanted properties.
- Full driving license
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Will need to undergo a DBS check.
