The Role
- Cleaning all areas of the Care Home
- Following the infection control regulations and policies
- Respecting the privacy of individuals and residents
- Creating a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents
- Laundry
- Light hospitality, delivering cold or hot drinks, snacks, cakes, biscuits etc.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene in all areas, including bathrooms, servery area, bedrooms, and communal spaces.
- Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Adhere to confidentiality policies regarding client information and premises.
Requirements
- Previous experience cleaning is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to different working environments and schedules.
