This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Council’s Housing Solutions Team on a fixed term basis to deliver a valuable housing advice service to people and families who are threatened with homelessness, or find themselves homeless
We have a vacancy within the Housing Solutions Team to deliver housing advice to applicants in line with Housing Wales Act 2014. The post holder will be required to assist households to prevent homelessness, provide housing solutions through the development of personal housing plans recording reasonable steps.
The successful candidate will be passionate about helping people to maintain and set up a home, and will have a good understanding and experience of how to prevent homelessness and undertake assessments under the Housing Wales Act 2014 as amended, and all housing related law.
