We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef de Partie to join our vibrant kitchen team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food handling and preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Support with inventory management by notifying supervisors of stock levels and expiry dates
- Assist in the training of new team members as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Experience in meal preparation and restaurant service is advantageous
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy kitchen setting
