About Us
Parkland is an AA Five Star Platinum, adults-only caravan, camping and glamping site set in the beautiful South Devon countryside near Kingsbridge. We are proud of our award-winning standards and the peaceful, welcoming environment we provide for our guests.
Due to retirement we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable hands-on person to join our small, friendly team in a varied, year-round role.
The Role
This is a hands-on position involving a wide range of duties to help maintain the high standards of our site.
The position includes the following work, but are not limited to:
- Grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting and pitch maintenance
- General repairs and upkeep across the site, facilities and glamping units
- Managing waste and recycling
- Pressure washing, cleaning decking, gutters and fascias
- Painting and general maintenance as required
- Safe operation and maintenance of tools and machinery
- Carrying out routine health and safety checks
- Assisting housekeeping team
- Welcoming and assisting guests, showing them to pitches and answering queries
- Supporting the site owner with additional tasks as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, honest and proactive
- Ideally has previous experience in a similar hands-on role
- Takes pride in their work and attention to detail
- Has good customer service skills
- Understands and follows health and safety procedures
- Can work independently and as part of a small team
- Is flexible with working days and hours (including occasional weekends)
- Holds a clean UK driving licence (ideally)
- Has the right to work in the UK

- 2 days per week (approximately 15 hours per week - additional days/hours maybe available during busy periods)
