Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Part Time Gardener to help maintain the beauty and health of our outdoor spaces. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys gardening, and wants to contribute to creating an inviting atmosphere for our visitors. Previous experience as a Gardener and Groundsman is necessary, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to trim, prune, and shape plants, shrubs, and trees.
- Planting new flowers, bushes, and other greenery to enhance the landscape.
- Ensure all plants receive proper watering.
- Keep outdoor areas tidy by removing weeds, fallen leaves, and debris regularly.
- Support landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns and edging pathways.
- Follow safety procedures when handling gardening equipment and chemicals.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of gardening tools including hand tools and power tools.
- Growing experience or familiarity with horticulture principles is a plus.
- Strong interest in gardening and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn about irrigation systems and plant care techniques.
