Who we Are
Limpsfield Chart Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming members’ club set in the beautiful Surrey countryside. Established in 1889, we are proud of our rich history, relaxed atmosphere, and our unique 9-hole heathland course, which offers a great challenge for golfers of all abilities. The clubhouse is the heart of the club, providing a warm and sociable environment where members and guests can relax after their round. With a busy calendar of golf and social events, we take pride in delivering a great all-round experience both on and off the course.
Role Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and skilled cook to take the lead in both everyday and event catering within our welcoming clubhouse.
This varied role will involve preparing and cooking simple, good-quality meals, as well as serving drinks and assisting members and guests behind the bar.
During the winter months, we are looking for someone with the confidence and enthusiasm to prepare traditional British roast dinners to a consistently high standard. You will also have the opportunity to showcase your skills by creating occasional two or three-course meals for special occasions and club events.
Alongside your cooking responsibilities, you will support the bar by serving drinks and snacks, welcoming members and visitors, and taking green fee payments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes genuine pride in their food and loves delivering excellent customer service in a relaxed and sociable setting.
The position will initially offer a minimum of 20 hours per week throughout the summer, with hours expected to reduce during the quieter winter months. The role and working hours will be reviewed as we progress through the summer, based on the needs of the club and the success of the position.
