HGV Class 1 Night Driver (Self-Employed)

We are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our team on a self-employed basis.
This is a straightforward trunking role, running between two fixed locations with no multi-drop deliveries, offering consistent work and regular hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out nightly trunking runs between two designated locations.
- Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
- Adhere to all DVSA regulations, drivers' hours, and Working Time Directive requirements.
- Maintain accurate transport documentation.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of UK drivers' hours and road transport legislation.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- No more than 3 penalty points (if applicable).
- No DR, DD or IN convictions (if applicable).
