Senior Care Assistant (Full-Time or Part-Time)
We have 36 hours available per week, which can be offered as one full-time position or split between two part-time positions.
Full-Time – 36 hours per week:
24 hours as a Senior Care Assistant and 12 hours as a Care Assistant.
Part-Time - 18 hours per week
(8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm & 8am-8pm must be flexible on days worked)

We are looking for a kind, confident and experienced Senior Carer to join our friendly team at Homestead, our welcoming 22-bed care home in Exmouth.

About the role
As a Senior Carer, you'll play an important part in making every day a positive one for our residents. You'll lead and support the care team on shift, helping to create a calm, happy and well-organised environment while ensuring our residents receive consistently excellent care.
Your role will include:
- Leading and supporting the care team on the floor
- Administering and assisting with medication
- Providing compassionate, person-centred personal care
- Getting to know our residents, their routines and individual preferences
- Supporting residents with meals, drinks and their day-to-day wellbeing
- Providing clear and effective handovers between shifts
- Helping maintain consistent, safe and high-quality standards of care
