Barbering Lecturer
Contract type: Fixed term contract until 30th June 2027
Part-Time – 7 Hours per week
Salary: £41,838 - £50,359 per annum pro rata (Candidates holding TQFE will commence on £48,227 per annum pro rata)
You will deliver professional Barbering courses to a diverse range of students at a variety of levels. As a professional member of the teaching staff of the College, you will be responsible for the preparation of lessons; the teaching of students and the marking and assessment of their work.
The ideal candidate must possess a Level 6 qualification in Barbering (or equivalent), along with broad, demonstrable experience within the vocational specialism.
The successful candidate will possess effective interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate learning to individuals with a variety of learning styles.
TQFE and Assessor Awards are desirable, along with knowledge of Barbering qualifications at SCQF Levels 5 and 6, and/or previous teaching experience, but these are not essential.
