Job Description – Multiskilled Handyman
For over 220 years, DMA Group has been supporting customers with the complexities of managing and maintaining buildings through our Hard and Soft FM, Integrated Managed Services, Construction Project Management and Energy & Sustainability solutions. Our customers include super-prime residences and developments, hotels & hospitality, schools & universities, public sector, commercial offices, industrial, health & social care, and retail.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen with DMA Group for a multiskilled Handyman to join our team, working at an exclusive chain consisting of 4 hotels, in the heart of London. As part of a team of engineers, you will collaborate with the on-site customer team and the hotel's maintenance engineers to ensure a quick and proactive approach to any maintenance tasks that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on plant equipment, monthly plant room and roof inspections, in room induction units, extract fans, dampers.
- Quarterly descaling of hotel room showers, across all four hotel sites.
- Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, including lighting, monthly and annual EML tests, power distribution, emergency systems, pumps, induction units, and ad hoc tasks.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations, ensuring compliance in all electrical and mechanical activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and service reports.
Qualifications and Experience
- NVQ2 in Plumbing or Electrical
- 5 years FM industry experience.
- Current knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Candidates with experience in a similar role within a maintenance environment will be given preference.

Schedule
Our normal site hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am - 5pm however we understand there is need for flexibility due to our clients, on site needs.
Remuneration and Benefits
We are happy to offer an attractive base salary plus overtime pay. The engineer will receive an Oyster card for travel, access to our trusted suppliers/trade accounts, mobile phone, tablet/PDA, uniform and any trade specific tools. Engineers are expected to provide their own 'hand tools'.
The Engineer will also benefit from 25 days annual leave (plus public holidays), company pension, death in service benefit and 'Smart Health' service.
