Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prioritise workshop jobs to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Supervise technicians and support staff, providing guidance and technical assistance as needed
- Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assist with repairs or diagnostics when necessary
- Maintain accurate job records, parts ordering, and workshop documentation
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to guarantee customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle status and repair details
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and customers confidently
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in a workshop or service environment is preferred but not mandatory
