We are now offering an exciting opportunity to join ATL as a Recruitment & Talent Advisor within our newly established Recruitment & Talent department. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment & Talent, you'll play a pivotal role in building and developing our in-house recruitment function, helping to attract, engage and retain the talented people who drive our business forward.

As Recruitment & Talent Advisor, you'll manage recruitment activity from vacancy through to onboarding, ensuring an outstanding experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Your responsibilities will include:

Reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment & Talent.

Managing end-to-end recruitment for operational roles, with a primary focus on HGV Drivers and Warehouse Operatives.

Working closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and provide recruitment advice and market insight.

Using our in-house Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage vacancies, candidate pipelines and recruitment activity.

Writing engaging job adverts and advertising vacancies across multiple job boards and social media platforms.

Developing talent pipelines to support future recruitment needs.

Maintaining the ATL Careers website, ensuring vacancies and content remain current and engaging.

Creating regular recruitment content and maintaining a strong presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant social media channels.

Supporting and enhancing ATL's employer brand, including monitoring and responding to reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed where appropriate.

Representing ATL at recruitment events, careers fairs, schools, colleges and community engagement activities.

Supporting recruitment marketing campaigns and initiatives designed to attract diverse talent.

supporting specialist recruitment projects, including initiatives focused on recruiting ex-offenders and ex-services personnel.

Building relationships with external partners, training providers and community organisations to widen talent attraction.

Assisting with production of recruitment reports and analysing recruitment metrics to support continuous improvement.

Supporting onboarding activities to ensure new starters receive a positive introduction to ATL.

Occasional travel to our Carlisle depot and other operational locations will be required.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment, employer branding and building relationships, with the drive to help shape a newly created department.
You'll ideally have:

Previous experience within internal recruitment, talent acquisition or recruitment consultancy.

Experience recruiting for high-volume operational roles would be advantageous.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology.

A creative approach to recruitment marketing and social media.

Confidence creating engaging online content and promoting employer branding initiatives.

A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent attention to detail.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
This is a full-time role office based at our Headquarters in Foston, with occasional travel to our sites.
