Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team specialising in new build housing projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various properties, ensuring they are ready for handover to clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for maintaining pristine environments and experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work. Duties
- Clean and prepare new build properties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
- Ensure all areas are free from dust, debris, and construction residues
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, fixtures, and fittings to meet company standards
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure the site remains tidy at all times
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities
- Assist with organising cleaning supplies and equipment to optimise efficiency
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate cleaning schedules around ongoing work
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
