Job role: Early Years Practitioner
Reports to: Service Manager
Full-Time, permanent role, working 35 hours Monday to Friday.
Starting rate from £12.60 per hour.

Our well established but modern facility provides high quality, flexible, and fully inclusive early learning and childcare support alongside unique family wellbeing services to the ever-changing needs of our community. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and understand the importance of delivering nurturing and high quality learning experiences.
· You must have a flexible, open and honest approach with the ability to work positively in our team.
· To support the creation of a warm, caring, home from home environment in which each child feels secure, supported, and valued in their own right.
· To establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and children.
· Make accurate and effective use of assessment tools reflecting the needs, interests and developmental stages of the individual child.
· To participate in all staff training and development opportunities, supporting continued professional development, learning and growth in your role.
· To ensure all health and safety, security standards and procedures are maintained in accordance with the nurseries policies and procedures.
Role Requirements:
· You must be qualified to HNC/SVQ level 3; Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF level 7.
· You will be required to meet the registration requirements or be a practitioner with SSSC and be a member of the PVG/Enhanced Disclosure programme.
· A minimum of three years, post qualification experience is essential.
· Experience in delivering Curriculum for Excellence and Pre-Birth to Three is desirable and a working knowledge of Realising the Ambition and GIRFEC.
· It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
