Classroom Connect is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded special school federation in Lincoln, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their committed and supportive team from September 2026. Immediate starts are also available for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an outstanding specialist setting catering for pupils aged 2–19 with a range of complex needs and disabilities, including physical and medical needs at primary and secondary level.

What the school is looking for:
- Experience in a SEND or similar support role, or a genuine willingness to learn and develop
- Experience supporting young people with anxiety and mental health needs
- Confidence managing complex and challenging behaviours
- Experience working with pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties
- Familiarity with sensory strategies in a classroom setting
- Moving and handling training, or willingness to undertake it
- Medication administration training, or willingness to undertake it
- A genuine drive to help children achieve their potential
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility, adaptability, resilience and patience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to go the extra mile
