We are looking for a reliable and practical person to assist with gardening, general property maintenance and a variety of ad hoc tasks.
This is a varied, hands-on position that would suit someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, can work independently and takes pride in completing jobs to a good standard. Applications from experienced and semi-retired candidates are welcome.
Main duties
- General gardening and grounds maintenance
- Lawn care, weeding, pruning and tidying outdoor areas
- Minor repairs and routine maintenance
- Moving materials, equipment and other items when required
- Completing general errands and ad hoc practical tasks
- Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues
The ideal candidate will
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Have a practical, flexible and proactive approach
- Be physically fit and comfortable carrying out active, outdoor work
- Be able to work safely and independently
- Have previous gardening, maintenance, handyman or similar practical experience
- Hold a full, valid driving licence
- Have access to their own reliable transport
