Sound & Vision (Sensory) CIC is looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Sensory Support Team. This is a varied and rewarding role, and no previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
About the Role
As a Sensory Support Worker, you will provide support across a range of services delivered by Sound & Vision (Sensory) CIC.
Communicator-Guide Service
Communicator Guides support people who are deafblind to access their community and maintain their independence. This may include accompanying individuals to:
- Community events and activities
- Shopping trips
- Healthcare appointments
- Social outings
- Other day-to-day activities
Sighted Guide Service
Sighted Guides provide mobility / guiding support to people with visual impairments. Support may include:
- Accompanying individuals to community activities and events
- Medical appointments
- Other everyday journeys to help people live independently

Pay
£12.82–£18.52 per hour (rate dependent on the agreed assignment and skillset).
