We are recruiting for a Head of Health, Safety and Employee Wellbeing to join our Partnering, Culture and Wellbeing team.
Reporting to the Head of Partnering, Culture and Wellbeing and forming part of the People Group Senior Management Team, you will act as Ofsteds Competent Person and trusted adviser to the Director of People, HMCI and senior leaders. Leading a small specialist team, you will develop and deliver a proportionate, risk-based approach to health, safety and wellbeing that supports our organisational priorities and promotes a positive, preventative culture across a nationally dispersed workforce of inspectors and professional colleagues.
We are looking for a strategic leader with significant experience of managing health, safety and wellbeing in a complex organisation, excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, and the ability to influence at senior level. You will hold a relevant degree, NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification) and be a Chartered Member of IOSH (CMIOSH), or able to demonstrate substantial progress towards achieving Chartered status.
