Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Hart Distribution Ltd is a well-established family-run logistics company based in Cumbria. We are currently looking for a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team operating on a dedicated local contract.
This role involves the collection and delivery of internal mail, documents, small parcels and other essential items between locations across Cumbria. It is an important customer-facing position where professionalism, punctuality and excellent service are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver mail, documents, small parcels and other essential items between locations.
- Complete scheduled collection and delivery routes safely and efficiently.
- Accurately record collections and deliveries.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers and site contacts.
- Comply with all company procedures, driving standards and health & safety requirements.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous driving experience is essential.
- Good knowledge of roads throughout Cumbria would be advantageous.
- Applicants must satisfy our vehicle insurance criteria.
- Reliable, organised and capable of working independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
