Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Insulation Installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing various types of insulation materials in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on-site. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials according to specifications and building codes
- Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all insulation is securely fitted and properly sealed to maximise energy efficiency
- Assist with preparation of work areas, including cleaning and setting up scaffolding or ladders as necessary
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, and plumbers to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times during installation processes
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, disposing of waste materials responsibly
Experience
- Prior experience in insulation installation or related construction roles is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical systems, fabrication, and the use of hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Familiarity with building plans and technical drawings is beneficial
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards

Pay: £34,029.96-£53,587.46 per year
