Job Title: Children’s Support Worker
Location: Harwich
Salary: £14.20 per hour
Contract: Full-time, Temporary Shift Work (35-40 hours per week, including 1 weekend per month)

We’re searching for individuals who are:
- Compassionate and dedicated to empowering young people
- A graduate with a 2:2 or above in any bachelor’s degree
- Experienced working with children, ideally those with additional needs
- Passionate about SEND and creating inclusive environments
- Flexible, proactive, and strong communicators
Your Role as a Children’s Support Worker:
- Provide compassionate care while promoting independence and personal growth
- Support young people with diverse health, physical, and learning needs
- Encourage social inclusion and development through fun, engaging activities
- Foster acceptance and integration within the home and wider community
- Collaborate with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Keep accurate records and ensure clear, effective communication
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive
- Participate in training and take on additional responsibilities (including sleep-in shifts and weekend work)
