Ward Administrator

As a Ward Administrator at Highgate Hospital, you’re able to assist with the smooth running of the Ward by providing comprehensive clerical support. You will help to maintain all ward quality folders, ensuring that they reflect the current status in relation to all policies.
As a Ward Administrator you will:
- To ensure prompt answering of all telephone calls ensuring that all messages are relayed to the appropriate personnel
- To monitor and answer emails, coordinating with relevant department
- To support the nursing staff in all aspects of admin including arranging appointments as necessary
- To retrieve and prepare patient records prior to admission
- To file and store all patient documentation on completion of stay
- To make and respond to patient/visitors requests for refreshments
- To co-ordinate stationary and clinical stock orders
