About the Role
We’re recruiting for an industry leading electrical heating company. They are looking for proactive, sales-driven Online Sales Consultants to join at the ground floor. Unlike a traditional order-taking sales role, this position is built around booked online consultations - customers schedule a session, and you'll remotely assess their space, specify the right electrical radiator system, produce a design and quote, and guide them to purchase.
This is a genuinely consultative, advisory sales role, measured on sales performance. We're looking for naturally proactive salespeople who enjoy owning the full sale from consultation to close, rather than reactive order-takers. This is a new, high-visibility function, offering the chance to help shape the sales process as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct booked online video/remote consultations with prospective customers
- Assess customer requirements and heating needs to specify the right electrical radiator system
- Produce accurate designs and quotes during or immediately following the consultation
- Proactively guide customers through the decision-making process as a trusted advisor
- Own the sale from initial consultation through to close, hitting sales targets and KPIs
- Follow up on quoted consultations to convert enquiries into confirmed orders
- Maintain accurate records of consultations, quotes, and sales activity in the CRM
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a proactive, target-driven B2C sales role - comfortable owning a full sales cycle rather than just taking orders
- Confident conducting video or remote consultations, with strong presentation and rapport-building skills
- Strong consultative selling skills - able to identify customer needs and recommend the right solution
- Comfortable working towards sales targets and being measured on performance
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and excited to help be apart of a sales function from the ground up
Pay: £32,000.00 per year
