Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a School. This role is for a reliable person who is professional and works well within a team.
Times are set at 3.30pm-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the company's standards and procedures.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, mopped, vacuumed, and sanitised as per company standards.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
- A Valid DBS in date of 1 year needed to apply.
