Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring spaces to life through expert painting and decorating techniques. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of paint and finishes
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative coatings with precision and care
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to deliver high-quality results on time
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and clarify project requirements
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance, making touch-ups or corrections as needed
- Operate driving vehicles or equipment required for transporting materials or accessing job sites
Skills
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating techniques
- Strong communication skills in English for clear instructions and client interactions
- Valid driving license with the ability to operate relevant vehicles safely
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to painting and decorating work
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and handling tools over extended periods
Pay: £14.47-£20.00 per hour
