Part-Time Bartender – Kuckoo Chester
Kuckoo is a premium, independently family-owned cocktail bar known for high-energy nights, exceptional drinks and standout events. With venues across Chester, Knutsford, Preston, Sheffield and Warrington, we are proud to be the current Late Night Operator of the Year in the UK.
We are looking for one experienced part-time bartender to join our Chester team, working Fridays and Saturdays.
The Role
As a Part-Time Bartender at Kuckoo Chester, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cocktails and supporting the setup and delivery of our busy weekend services and events. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident behind the bar who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving cocktails to Kuckoo standards with consistency and speed
- Managing bar setup before service, including stations, glassware, prep and stock readiness
- Supporting event services and themed nights, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and hygiene across the bar throughout service
- Working closely with the floor team to deliver excellent guest experiences
- Closing down the bar correctly at the end of service
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a cocktail bartender
- Strong cocktail knowledge and confidence working from a menu
- Experience setting up and running busy services or events
- Calm, organised and efficient under pressure
- High standards, attention to detail and pride in your work
- A positive attitude and strong team mentality
Hours
- Part-time position
- Two days per week
- Fridays and Saturdays
