Porth Avallen Hotel is a family run 28 bed roomed hotel and is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Assistant with meticulous attention to detail.
Summary
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in hospitality and hotel experience to meet the high standards expected by our organization. Your housekeeping experience will enhance your ability to perform various cleaning tasks efficiently. The role will require you to be fully flexible in your availability and you must be able to work at weekends. Hours depending on bookings and will involve a 9am/9.15am start and will finish when all job requirements are completed.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience
- Strong understanding of housekeeping standards and practices
- Housekeeping experience in a commercial setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
