We are looking for an ambitious, hard-working individual with an interest in the hospitality industry and a willingness to learn and progress their skills. Internal progression is available to the right candidate, an intention to take on more responsibility over time will be taken into consideration.
Duties
-Welcoming and interacting with customers, making recommendations and answering any questions they may have
-Preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, restocking the bar, replenishing supplies
-Being proactive, working efficiently in a team and independently
-Helping to provide a clean and safe environment for customers
-Serving food, primarily in our events space
-Additional duties may also be required
Experience
- Previous bar experience is preferred but not essential.
-Knowledge of different alcoholic drinks and how they should look/taste.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and taking orders.
- Excellent communication skills, interacting with customers in a calm, friendly and professional manner.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
