Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle challenging situations with confidence and tact. This role involves managing access control, maintaining order, and providing a welcoming yet secure environment for all guests. Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and authorisation of individuals.
- Conduct thorough searches of persons and belongings when necessary, adhering to legal and organisational protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorised access or disruptive behaviour.
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies, liaising with relevant authorities when required.
- Enforce venue policies, ensuring all visitors adhere to rules and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with enquiries in a courteous manner.
- Record incident reports accurately and promptly as needed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security or a related role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Valid security licence or certification recognised within the UK is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and discreetly.
- Physically fit with good stamina; able to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the venue’s operating hours.

Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
