Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Lighting Technician to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lighting design and technical skills, with a passion for visual storytelling through photography and videography. Duties
- Set up, operate, and maintain lighting equipment for recorded music, video productions, and live events.
- Full creative freedom to rearrange the venue lighting and sound infrastructure
- Collaborate with artists, videographers, and directors to achieve desired lighting effects.
- Manage lighting inventory, ensuring all equipment is properly stored, maintained, and ready for use.
- Contribute to creative discussions regarding lighting concepts and overall visual style.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all setup and operation procedures.
Qualifications
- Chamsys, Resolume, Beatkontrol, Novastar LCT Knowledge required.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop.
- Familiarity with lighting equipment such as LED panels, spotlights, diffusers, and dimmers.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and visual composition.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 30 per week
